HP Mile Acquires Lauraville Packaging

HP Mile Inc., a Syracuse-based label printing company, has acquired all assets of Geneva, New York-based label converter Lauraville Packaging LLC, which is now a division of HP Mile.

The addition of Lauraville Packaging’s proprietary product lines to HP Mile’s existing in-house flexographic printing capabilities gives the company the ability to design, print and manufacture on-pack labels, including multi-page encapsulated expanded content labels (ECLs), which can be used extensively for both promotional and regulatory needs as inserts and onserts.

“Our agreement to acquire Lauraville Packaging represents another significant milestone in HP Mile’s strategy of strengthening our presence in regulated industries and growing our customer base in more promotional areas,” said Michael Brady, president, HP Mile. “HP Mile is well-known in the pharmaceutical and medical-device label converting field for using the latest technology to print defect-free labels with quick turnaround. Now there is a huge opportunity to expand our business and encapsulate booklets and leaflets.”
