Germany-based BASF has revealed the newest cereal seed treatment from its Seed Solutions pipeline, Rubin TT. Rubin TT, the successor of Rubin, was developed in an exchange between BASF and the seed industry, reports the company.

Rubin TT is designed to control all important soil- and seed-borne pathogens in cereals. The new formulation includes the active ingredient triticonazole. It supports the seedlings or young plants without damage, says BASF, and provides a continuous uptake of the active substance into the leaf tissue, thus reducing attack by foliar diseases.
