Cruiser Maxx Extends Its Reach

GUELPH, Canada -- Syngenta Crop Protection's Cruiser Maxx Pulses has widened its approval in Canada. The pean and dry bean seed treatment now can be used as a treatment for chickpeas, lentils, lupins and faba beans, reports Canada's Country Guide. The added registrations take effect in time for the 2010 growing season, says the company.

Cruiser Maxx Pulses is a combination of active ingredients thiamethoxam, metalaxyl-M and fludioxonil registered for early-season control of wireworm. The treatment is can also be used for seed protection against ascochyta blight, foot rot, seed rot and seedling blight.
