USE: For use in corn, sorghum, etc. Crisazina* on African oil palm, bananas, citrus, coffee, corn, pineapple, sorghum, sugarcane. Contour* for use only on IMI-Corn.

Chemistry
COMPOSITION: 6-Chloro-N2-ethyl-N4-isopropyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diamine(1).
CLASS: Triazine.
PROPERTIES: Colorless crystals. Melting point 173°-175°C. Solubility: n-pentane 360 ppm; diethyl ether 12,000 ppm; methanol 18,000 ppm; ethyl acetate 28,000 ppm; chloroform 52,000 ppm; dimethyl sulfoxide 183,000 ppm.

Registration
US: RUP. Use of atrazine for noncrop total vegetation control eliminated, and buffer areas between atrazine application sites and surface water required.

TOXICITY: Tech (Rat): Oral LD50 1780 mg/kg. Azinotox *-500 (Rat): Oral LD50 3080 mg/kg. AAtrex* (Rat): Oral LD50 1869 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 >3100 mg/kg. (Rabbit): Nonirritating to eyes; mild to skin. AAtrex* 4L (Rat): Oral LD50 3800 mg/kg. Inhalation LC50 >6.8 mg/l (4 h). (Rabbit): Dermal >10,200 mg/kg; mild eye and skin irritation. AAtrex* Nine-O* (Rat): Oral LD50 1600 mg/kg. Inhalation LC50 5.2 mg/l (4 h). (Rabbit): Dermal >10,200 mg/kg. Minimal eye, skin irritation.
HANDLING/STORAGE: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, prolonged contact with skin, inhalation of dust. Store in well-ventilated, secure area out of reach of children and domestic animals. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not contaminate food, feed, or water supplies. Shelflife of 3 yr. under environmental conditions, provided the product is stored in its unopened, undamaged original containers, in well-ventilated and dry storehouses kept away from sources of heat, free flames, or spark-generating equipment.
