Nufarm Management Shakeup

Australia’s Nufarm Limited said it reorganized some of its management team to better reflect the strategic priorities of the business.

Brian Benson, Group Executive Marketing and Portfolio Development, will now assume executive leadership responsibilities for innovation, global marketing and business development, as well as the seed technologies business. Greg Hunt, Group Executive Commercial Operations, will have executive level responsibility for the regional crop protection businesses.

Elbert Prado, Group Executive Manufacturing and Supply Chain, will expand his global manufacturing responsibilities to include executive leadership for supply chain and procurement.

Other executive roles remain unchanged.

Nufarm’s Managing Director and CEO, Doug Rathbone, said the changes are aimed at providing clear leadership responsibilities around key strategic priorities including the support of product development and high value growth opportunities; the execution of regional strategic growth plans;and achieving greater operational efficiencies, including better management of working capital.
