Arysta Introduces Natural Biostimulant in India
11 March 2015 Growers in select areas of India have a new tool to help grow a variety of crops using a natural biostimulant from Arysta LifeScience.
Opteine , a foliar-applied product of Goёmar, can improve greening and flowering with less flower drop and better fruiting, according to a release from Arysta. The biostimulant is targeted for use in a variety of crops including tomatoes, chilies and tree crops.
“The response from farmers has been encouraging,” said Ganesh Kumar, MD & Country Head India. “They are seeing good results – including increased marketable yields – from an application of
Opteine at the onset of flowering, followed by an additional spray at full bloom and another one at fruit-set stage.”
Arysta LifeScience says it plans to expand Opteine to other geographies and crops in India over the next few years.
